Lower Extremity Treatments to Restore Function

Currently Good for CE hours in: CO, IL (Informal), IA, MA, NE, OH, WA

Pelvic unleveling will cause disproportionate weight bearing in the lumbar spine causing muscle imbalance and ischemic low back pain.  Spinal adjustments without addressing lower extremity problems will have short term results but no long term benefit.  Any spinal problem must also take into consideration the possibility that lower extremity dyskinesis could be the cause.  This course teaches you how to evaluate the most common low back issues and provides a manual medicine approach to correcting these common pathologies.

Visceral Manipulation Techniques

Currently good for CE hours in:  CO, IL (Formal/Hard), IA, MA, NE, OH, WA,

Visceral Manipulation assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive and lymphatic dysfunction. It evaluates and treats the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes, fascia and ligaments. It also increases proprioceptive communication within the body, thereby revitalizing a person and relieving symptoms of pain, dysfunction, and poor posture.
Dr. Dolbin will give an integrative approach to evaluation and treatment that requires assessment of the structural relationships between the viscera, and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to the musculoskeletal system.

Get back to the basics of health with Dr. Dolbin.  Many studies show the importance of diet, exercise and lifestyle balance on mental health, which extends to functional health.  As chiropractors, we need to look at the whole picture, not just the site of symptoms.  Using new research from many different well-respected sources, Dr. Dolbin has put together a program that outlines the major influences on mental issues such as dementia and alzheimers and how chiropractors can help patients slow the effects and in some cases even reverse the changes in the brain.
