Lower Extremity Treatments to Restore Function

  • Asheville, NC - Holiday Inn Biltmore East 1450 Tunnel Rd. Asheville, NC (map)

Pelvic unleveling will cause disproportionate weight bearing in the lumbar spine causing muscle imbalance and ischemic low back pain.  Spinal adjustments without addressing lower extremity problems will have short term results but no long term benefit.  Any spinal problem must also take into consideration the possibility that lower extremity dyskinesis could be the cause.  This course teaches you how to evaluate the most common low back issues and provides a manual medicine approach to correcting these common pathologies.

Join us to learn how to apply the fundamental principles of Chiropractic and treatment to common conditions affecting the lower extremities.  This seminar will include hands on demonstrations of techniques to resolve functional issues with the feet, knees, hip and more.

This seminar includes:

  •        How to diagnose through biomechanical evaluation
  •        Implementing appropriate corrective techniques for your diagnosis
  •        Up to date research on the efficacy of treatment as is relates to disease and dysfunction
  •        Hands On participation in the demonstrations of these treatments and techniques - either as patient and/or doctor

Finally Dr. Dolbin will demonstrate how to make your own custom orthotics in your office which will assist in correcting biomechanical pathologies in the foot and ankle which could have global effects at distant sites.  For example, an anterior talus will cause an anterior sacrum
