What you will need for the class:
1. If you are required to bring anything, you will be told in the confirmation email sent the Monday prior to the seminar. Usually you do not need to bring anything with you, but for some seminars, we ask you to bring a portable table or scissors (for the taping seminars) if possible. If you do not have one, that is ok - you can still participate and get your CE hours.
2. You will be asked for your license number. If you cannot find it or forget it, you can still sit in class and get the CE hours. You being able to give us this information saves us time looking it up later!
3. We suggest you bring pen and paper to take notes on. All notes are currently available online (the link is provided in the Monday email mentioned above).
You are welcome to bring a laptop to view the online notes during the seminar. The online notes will be available to you before, during and after the seminar at any time - you are not required to print them off, but may if you wish.
4. Wear comfortable clothes. Most of our seminars are interactive! It’s much easier to demonstrate on you if you have comfortable clothes on rather than a business suit. You are never required to participate in the demonstrations….but we do encourage it because it enhances your experience.
When you arrive the day of the seminar:
You will be greeted by a Fetterman Events representative who can help you at anytime throughout the day. You will sign in at the registration table when you arrive, then choose your seat for the day.
You are free to move about the room and network with colleagues! We encourage everyone to connect with other Chiropractors in the class…a lot of great discussions happen at our seminars! Doctors frequently get answers to their own questions on difficult patients they are treating.
Schedule for the day:
Class will begin at the scheduled start time!
Breaks are approximately every 1 1/2 -2 hours
Lunch break is 1:00 - 1:50pm for seminars 8 hours or longer - You are on your own for lunch unless advertised differently.
At the end of the day:
You will sign out when you leave the seminar for the day. You will get the number of hours you actually attend. So if you only want to stay for 4 hours, you can do that. If you stay for the entire seminar, you just sign out at the end of the seminar.
Seminar Policies
CE Hours:
CE hours are figured on an hourly basis. To obtain the full hour, you must be in class at least 50 minutes of that hour. Doctors may attend as many or as few hours of a seminar as they wish.
All attendees must sign in upon arrival at a live seminar,
sign out at beginning of lunch break,
sign back in upon return from lunch break and
sign out at the end of the seminar.
If a signature or time is missing, attendance cannot be verified and therefore CE hours cannot be awarded for
attendance.
CE Hours are processed and documented the week following the seminar. Attendance letters are emailed to attendees
no later than the Tuesday following the seminar. CE hours are reported by us to any required State Boards, PACE or
CE Broker the week following a seminar attended. Some states do not require us to report to them, only to you. We
keep records of your attendance for at least 4 years - so if you ever lose this documentation, contact us and we can
get a copy to you.
Approved Hours for States:
All states with CE hours for a seminar are listed on each seminar’s webpage. If a state is not listed, the hours are not good for that state. No other states will be added to the approved states.
Approved Special Hours:
All special hours for a seminar will be listed on the website.
Paying for a seminar
Payment must be received in order to receive CE credit for the seminar attended.
Discounts or Reduced Seminar rates
There are no reduced rates for attending less than the full class unless this option is available on the website.
Seminars Cancelled:
If there are no registered attendees one week prior to a scheduled seminar, that seminar will be cancelled.
If one of the Seminar Interruptions (below) has no reasonable alternative to cancelling, then the seminar will be cancelled at the time of discovery and any registered attendee will be notified via email and asked to respond. If no response is received, we will try reaching by phone.
Seminar Interruptions: (Medical Emergency, Venue Change, Interruption in travel, etc.)
In the event of medical emergency of the speaker, we will consider a replacement speaker and/or topic of seminar when possible. We will then notify the registered doctors of this change and give them the option of staying registered if possible, cancelling, or switching to a different seminar
In the event of an Act of God (i.e. weather or inability of travel due to circumstances out of our control that prevents speaker and/or attendees from safely travelling to get to or from the seminar) or Government restriction (i.e. Covid restrictions) we will consider changing a live event to a live-stream if this is allowed by their state board. If not allowed, the seminar will be rescheduled. All registered doctors will be notified of this change
If a venue must change, we will notify all registered attendees via email of the change and update the venue on the website and in our system.
Who may attend a seminar:
Only a person who is a paid registrant or is an active and registered member of the Doctor Program (DCs, CAs, or Students) may attend a seminar. Exception: if an attendee has a disability that makes it impossible for them to attend or arrive on their own and they must have someone with them, they are allowed to have that person stay at the seminar with them as long as we can reasonably accommodate them. No credits will be given to the extra person.
Children & Babies:
Children & Babies are not allowed to attend a seminar classroom. Children and babies are not able to sit and stay quiet for long. We love and value children and families, but cannot allow disruptions for the other attendees that would diminish their learning experience. Exception: Children and/or babies are allowed at any class that has a specified need for them to be in attendance. This would be advertised on the website and be for a specific timeframe only during the seminar. Nursing mothers will be accommodated during feeding times.
Attendee Code of Conduct
To maintain a professional and respectful learning environment, any participant who engages in disruptive or inappropriate behavior toward others may be asked to leave the seminar. According to the CE Hours Policy above, attendance credit will be granted only for the time the attendee is physically present in the seminar room. Fetterman Events reserves the right to remove any person who they deem is being disruptive or inappropriate and inhibiting the learning of other attendees.
Photo & Video Release Policy
By registering for and attending a Fetterman Events seminar, attendees consent to being photographed and/or recorded during the event. Fetterman Events may use these photos, videos, and recordings for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes in print, online, and other media, without compensation. If an attendee prefers not to be included in photos or recordings, they must notify the registration desk at check-in, or at the beginning of a live-stream seminar and we will note their preference. Fetterman Events is not responsible for unauthorized use of images by third parties
Late fee, Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Policy.
Live or Live-Stream Seminars

A $75 late registration fee is added to seminars the Monday prior to the
seminar taking place. This includes non-members and members of the

added, then the new attendee must pay the late fee.

before that Monday, they must pay the difference in the cost before
completing the transfer.
