The Gut–Chiropractic Connection: Understanding the Microbiome & Whole-Body Health

  • LIVE-STREAM Eastern Time (map)

The gut may be one of the most overlooked influences on your patient’s overall health—and the microbiome may be at the center of the conversation. This engaging seminar explores the complex world of the gut microbiome and its potential connections to inflammation, immune function, digestion, metabolism, and whole-body health.

Dr. Kendel will take you inside the microbiome to examine the balance between beneficial and potentially harmful microorganisms, what can disrupt that balance, and how changes in the gut environment may influence patient health. You’ll explore the relationship between the gut, immune system, inflammation, and nervous system and why these connections matter to chiropractors.

Most importantly, the seminar focuses on where chiropractic care fits into the bigger picture. Learn how chiropractors can recognize factors that may contribute to poor gut health, educate patients about lifestyle and nutritional considerations, and incorporate a broader understanding of the gut–body connection into a comprehensive approach to patient care.

You’ll Discover:

The Good: Understand beneficial gut bacteria and their role in digestion, immune function, and overall health.

The Bad: Explore factors that can disrupt the microbiome and contribute to an unhealthy gut environment.

The Ugly: Examine how microbiome imbalance and intestinal dysfunction may be associated with inflammation and systemic health concerns.

The Gut–Brain Connection: Explore the relationship between the microbiome, nervous system, and whole-body health.

The Inflammation Connection: Understand how gut health may influence inflammatory processes throughout the body.

The Chiropractic Connection: Discover practical ways chiropractors can incorporate gut-health education and a whole-body perspective into patient care.

Clinical Application: Gain insights you can use to have more informed conversations with patients about nutrition, lifestyle, gut health, and factors that may influence their overall wellness.

Take a deeper look at the microbiome—and discover why understanding the gut may be an important piece of the bigger picture in chiropractic patient care.

At the end of the day, click the “Leave Meeting” button at the bottom right of your computer screen. Zoom has logged the exact time of everyone in the meeting. Attendees can leave the seminar at any time by clicking the  “Leave Meeting” button. They will receive however many hours they were actually in the meeting.  Refer to CE hours (below) for information on how many CE hours the attendee will obtain if they leave early.

Technical Difficulties
If you have internet or electrical issues that disrupt your attendance, just let us know as soon as possible by emailing us and giving your name and the title of the seminar you were attending when you had these issues. Zoom will have documented the time you were logged in, and it also lets us know if you experienced any technical or electrical outages or issues. It also tells us if you just left the room on your own preference. You will get the number of hours you were logged in.

If we have technical or electrical outages: we will email you to let you know what’s happening. This is rare, and usually only happens when there are strong storms in the area of the instructor. In most cases, the instructor goes to his office/home or to a local hotel to reconnect. You will be disconnected if this happens, so check your email for any word from us on what is happening.

You may cancel your registration or transfer to another seminar of equal or lesser cost up until the Monday prior to the scheduled seminar.
