From Food Sensitivities to Chronic Inflammation: Clinical Insights for Chiropractors

  • LIVE-STREAM Eastern Time (map)

What if the inflammation affecting your patient’s health isn’t coming from where you think?

Persistent inflammation, recurring pain, slow recovery, fatigue, and other common patient complaints may be influenced by factors beyond the musculoskeletal system. Food sensitivities, gut health, nutritional factors, and immune responses can all contribute to the inflammatory environment—and understanding these connections can help chiropractors take a more comprehensive approach to patient care.

In this clinically focused seminar, chiropractors will explore the connection between food sensitivities, the gut microbiome, nutrition, immune function, and chronic inflammation and how these factors may influence patient health and recovery. Participants will learn how to recognize potential patterns, ask more meaningful questions, educate patients more effectively, and incorporate appropriate nutrition and lifestyle considerations into chiropractic care.

Take Your Chiropractic Approach Beyond the Adjustment

This course will help you:

  • Recognize the hidden contributors to chronic inflammation and understand how food sensitivities and nutritional factors may influence patient health.

  • Connect the dots between gut health and inflammation, including the potential role of the gut microbiome in overall wellness.

  • Identify clinical patterns and patient presentations that may warrant greater attention to nutrition, lifestyle, and inflammatory factors.

  • Enhance your patient history and education with practical questions and strategies related to diet, food sensitivities, and inflammation.

  • Strengthen the chiropractor’s role in whole-person care by addressing lifestyle and nutritional factors that may complement chiropractic treatment.

  • Improve patient conversations so you can confidently explain the relationship between inflammation, nutrition, and health.

  • Know when additional evaluation or referral may be appropriate and how to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Your patients don’t experience health problems in isolation. Learn how looking beyond the musculoskeletal complaint can give you a broader clinical perspective and help you provide more informed, comprehensive chiropractic care.

Join us to explore the nutrition–gut–inflammation connection and discover practical ways to bring these insights into your chiropractic practice.

Poll questions are posted at the beginning of each break and at the end of the seminar.  Attendees must answer these poll questions to document their attendance.

Leaving the Seminar
At the end of the day, click the “Leave Meeting” button at the bottom right of your computer screen. Zoom has logged the exact time of everyone in the meeting. Attendees can leave the seminar at any time by clicking the  “Leave Meeting” button. They will receive however many hours they were actually in the meeting.  Refer to CE hours (below) for information on how many CE hours the attendee will obtain if they leave early.

Technical Difficulties
If you have internet or electrical issues that disrupt your attendance, just let us know as soon as possible by emailing us and giving your name and the title of the seminar you were attending when you had these issues. Zoom will have documented the time you were logged in, and it also lets us know if you experienced any technical or electrical outages or issues. It also tells us if you just left the room on your own preference. You will get the number of hours you were logged in.

If we have technical or electrical outages: we will email you to let you know what’s happening. This is rare, and usually only happens when there are strong storms in the area of the instructor. In most cases, the instructor goes to his office/home or to a local hotel to reconnect. You will be disconnected if this happens, so check your email for any word from us on what is happening.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy
You may cancel your registration or transfer to another seminar of equal or lesser cost up until the Monday prior to the scheduled seminar. If you transfer to a seminar of lesser cost before that Monday, the overage will be refunded, minus a 3.5% credit card processing fee. If you cancel before that Monday, your registration fee—minus a 3.5% credit card processing fee—will be refunded. After that Monday, all fees become non-refundable and non-transferable.
