Turn Your Clinical Experience Into Research That Matters

  • LIVE-STREAM Eastern Time (map)

You see questions in your practice every day. What if you could turn those questions into research—and ultimately into published scientific evidence?

This seminar is designed specifically for practicing chiropractors who want to understand how research can become a powerful part of their professional practice and contribute to the future of chiropractic care.

You’ll discover how to move beyond simply reading research to doing research, sharing your findings, and getting published.

What You’ll Learn

  • Why Research Matters to Your Practice
Discover the clinical, professional, and academic benefits of conducting and publishing research—and how research can enhance your impact within the profession.

  • Conduct Research Where You Practice
Learn how a chiropractic office can serve as a valuable setting for meaningful clinical research. Explore practical approaches for turning everyday clinical questions and observations into researchable projects.

  • Understand the Research Process
Build a practical foundation in research methods, study design, data collection, analysis, and the principles needed to conduct credible research.

  • Take Your Research From Idea to Publication
Learn what it takes to develop a research project, prepare a manuscript, select an appropriate journal, navigate peer review, and ultimately see your work published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.

Your Practice Can Be a Source of Evidence

You don't need to be a career researcher to make a contribution to the scientific literature. You already have the clinical experience, patient encounters, and questions that can inspire valuable research.

This seminar will show you how to take the next step—from asking questions in your practice to generating evidence that can inform the profession.

Dr. John Hart has 15 years of experience as a practicing chiropractor, 30+ years as a researcher and educator at a chiropractic college, and 70+ papers published in peer-reviewed science journals. Hart earned his DC from Palmer College (Davenport), a master’s degree in health science from Nova Southeastern University, and a certificate in Applied Biostatistics from the University of Washington.

Leaving the Seminar
At the end of the day, click the “Leave Meeting” button at the bottom right of your computer screen. Zoom has logged the exact time of everyone in the meeting. Attendees can leave the seminar at any time by clicking the  “Leave Meeting” button. They will receive however many hours they were actually in the meeting.  Refer to CE hours (below) for information on how many CE hours the attendee will obtain if they leave early.

Technical Difficulties
If you have internet or electrical issues that disrupt your attendance, just let us know as soon as possible by emailing us and giving your name and the title of the seminar you were attending when you had these issues. Zoom will have documented the time you were logged in, and it also lets us know if you experienced any technical or electrical outages or issues. It also tells us if you just left the room on your own preference. You will get the number of hours you were logged in.

If we have technical or electrical outages: we will email you to let you know what’s happening. This is rare, and usually only happens when there are strong storms in the area of the instructor. In most cases, the instructor goes to his office/home or to a local hotel to reconnect. You will be disconnected if this happens, so check your email for any word from us on what is happening.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy
You may cancel your registration or transfer to another seminar of equal or lesser cost up until the Monday prior to the scheduled seminar. If you transfer to a seminar of lesser cost before that Monday, the overage will be refunded, minus a 3.5% credit card processing fee. If you cancel before that Monday, your registration fee—minus a 3.5% credit card processing fee—will be refunded. After that Monday, all fees become non-refundable and non-transferable.

Seminar Policy
Seminars will proceed as scheduled as long as at least one doctor is registered at least one week prior to the seminar date, and none of the exceptions listed below apply. If no registrations are received by that time, the seminar will be canceled.
